Giant Trojan Horse to visit Hopital Notre-Dame Hospital in Hearst tomorrow: OCHU-CUPE and the Ontario Health Coalition call for ending privatization of hospital surgeries

Hearst, ON – On Wednesday afternoon, a 15-foot wooden Trojan Horse will visit Hopital Notre-Dame Hospital in Hearst symbolizing the “duplicity of the Ontario PCs hospital services’ privatization plan.”

As part of their province-wide Trojan Horse tour, CUPE’s Ontario Council of Hospital Unions (OCHU-CUPE) and the Ontario Health Coalition are calling for an end to ongoing privatization of hospital surgeries and diagnostic tests, and demanding the government invest in staffing and capacity in public hospitals.
